Guests
over, Saturday morning but their late risers. At least the child is.
And I’d time to do all my meditation bit and the trip to the gym and get
home in time to still shower and still make everyone a big breakfast. A weekend breakfast; bacon, omelet,
hash browns, bagels and a smoothie.
I try to not to eat most of it because of the carbs, but it’s what a
weekend breakfast from memory feels like and Chinese cooking is good for many
things, but rarely breakfast.
Good bit of medium-term recall in at the gym. It’s hot. Normally I’m in there at 6:15AM. This was quarter to ten and the pressure of the day was
already built up thick in the room.
You can press the wall mounted air con units but they don’t ever seem to
do anything, before you’re ready to leave. I did anyway. I
toggled the temperature down to something ridiculously cold and it defaulted
right back up to tepid. Then, a
lonesome synapse in my head leapt up and connected itself with something
useful.
“There-are-two-standing-air-con-units-in-the-corner. In-the-past-these-had-worked.” I walked over to one of the standing
white units. Pressing the start
button I was worried for half a second and then the flaps flipped up and cool
dry air started pouring out.
Seconds later the other one was doing the same.
This time I have remembered ahead of time to summarize the
entries on the twenty-day mark. I
will have a look through the last nineteen days and see what’s there. (Eighteen as I went one over last
time.) At least it was a more
stationary time that the last with only two cities visited, I recall
correctly. Though that is all
about to change, again. Next summary will likely be in Europe at
the opposite end of the Eurasian landmass.
